The Nutcracker: A Tale from the Bayou, created by Molly Buchmann and Sharon Mathews in 1992, has become one of the most highly-awaited events of each Christmas holiday season. Incorporating local landmarks and accompanied by the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra, this lavish production continues to thrill adults and children alike.

Regional Dance America Southwest Festival Gala Performance

The 2016 Regional Dance America Southwest Festival will conclude with a public Gala Performance at the River Center Theater on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 7:30 pm. The region’s top ballet companies will perform a diverse repertoire featuring original choreography and emerging artists.
