Whitney Dufrene, originally from Louisiana, graduated with a BFA in dance from Belhaven University. She received her training primarily from Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre and Point Park. She served as company director and instructor for Dance Du Coeur, alongside performing and serving with Ad Deum Dance Company in Houston. Whitney has also worked closely with Creative Dreams Outreach Center, serving as their dance director. She has choreographed work for Ad Deum, Dance du Coeur, Belhaven’s Dance Ministry, BRBT, and for Weave Dance Collective in Biel, Switzerland. Recently, she was also honored to perform with Tabernacle Dance Company for the Feast of Tabernacles held annually in Jerusalem. She partnered with the Manship Theatre, working to bring the arts into the Baton Rouge public school system with greater strength.

Jon Lehrer, who was raised in Queens, New York, took his very first dance class at age 19 at the University at Buffalo, where he ultimately received his BFA in Dance. As a professional, Jon has danced with the Erick Hawkins Dance Company, Paul Sanasardo, John Passafiume Dancers, in Merv Griffin’s “Funderful” in Atlantic City, NJ, and the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular. In 1997, Jon was hired into Giordano Jazz Dance Chicago, where he eventually became Associate Director and Resident Choreographer.  In 2007, Jon moved to Buffalo, NY to begin his professional dance company – LehrerDance. Jon’s choreography has been set on numerous professional and university dance companies around the country, and he teaches master classes throughout the U.S. and around the world.

 

Jenelle Figgins joined Aspen Santa Fe Ballet from Dance Theatre of Harlem. The Washington D.C. native began training at the historic Jones-Haywood School of Ballet and Duke Ellington School of the Arts. She then won a full scholarship to Dance Theatre of Harlem’s Kennedy Center residency. After earning a BFA with honors from SUNY Purchase, she attended Springboard Danse Montreal. Jenelle is a 2014 recipient of the Princess Grace Award.

Blakeley White-McGuire is a New York-based dance artist and teacher, originally from South Louisiana, who specializes in concert dance performance and creation. Critically acclaimed as a principal dancer with the Martha Graham Dance Company (2002-2016), she has embodied the most iconic roles of 20th Century Modern dance.
