Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre will cast local children ages 8 to 14 as lambs, cherubs, mice, cooks, toy soldiers and party children in this treasured holiday production. Don’t miss your chance to experience the magic of performing on stage with the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre!
AUDITION SCHEDULE:
- 12:30 – 1:15 p.m. Boys 8* years & up
- 12:45 -1:30 p.m. Girls 8* years old
- 1:30 – 2:15 p.m. Girls 9 years old
- 2:15 – 3 p.m. Girls 10-11 years old
- 3 p.m. – 3:45 p.m. Girls 12-14 years old
*Children must be 8 years old by December 31, 2023
Audition fee: $10 Cash or Check please
Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled audition time. Wear a leotard, tights, ballet slippers and know your current height, weight, and garment size.

Bring your friends for extra fun!
- Dance with your friends on stage and double (or triple) your fun! Bring your 8 -10 year old friends to the audition. No formal dance training is required and children need only to be able to follow instructions. See you there!
- The children’s roles of Clara and BonBon are reserved for eligible members of BRBT Youth Ballet program.
- Mandatory rehearsals with our professional artistic staff are on either Saturday or Sunday from mid-October until the week of the production. Rehearsals are one to two hours long, depending on the role.
- A small participation fee is charged and costumes are provided.
