In coordination with the Dancer's Workshop, the official school school of BRBT, we are offering a variety of summer intensive programs designed for all age groups and ability levels. Find the perfect fit for you!
Acceptance and placement of non-Dancers’ Workshop students will be determined wit a class prior to the Intensive Week. Please call (225) 767-5814 for class appointment. If dancer lives more than 90 miles away, video submissions will be considered. Videos of 5 minutes or less should be submitted as a YouTube clip to christine@batonrougeballet.org. Please include basic barre and center. Please note that chaperoned housing is not provided.
Young Dancer Intensive: Completed 1st -4th grades
June 22 - June 25 (9:00 am - 12:00 pm)
Drop-offs no earlier than 8:45 and pickup no later than 12:15
$25 per class; $75 per day
$260 for the week if purchased BEFORE June 1
$285 for the week if purchased on or after June 1
Students will learn dance technique and performance/stage presence in ballet, tap, and jazz.
Beginning Dancer Intensive: Completed 1 yr of level V or 5th grade+
July 27 – July 31 (1:00 pm – 4:30 pm)
Drop-offs no earlier than 12:45 and pickup no later than 4:45
$30 per class; $80 per day
$375 for the week if purchased BEFORE June 1
$400 for the week if purchased on or after June
Students will learn dance technique and performance/stage presence in ballet, modern, contemporary, and dance team.
Intermediate-Advanced Dance Intensive: Completed 2 yrs of Level V+
July 27 – July 31 (9:00 am – 3:30 pm)
$40 per class; $100 per day
$475 for the week if purchased BEFORE June 1
$500 for the week if purchased on or after June 1
Students will learn dance technique and performance/stage presence in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, and variations.
Adult Summer Intensive
July 27 – July 31 (9:00 am – 12:30)
$30 per class; $80 per day
$375 for the week
Students will learn dance technique and performance/stage presence in ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, and variations.
