Enjoy a Private Viewing of the Final Dress Rehearsal with Reception to support BRBT!
For the past 34 years, Baton Rouge has enjoyed the mystery and beauty of The Nutcracker-A Tale from the Bayou. In 2025, we expanded this experience to include a special viewing of the final dress rehearsal, and due to its success, will be offering this opportunity once more on Thursday, December 17, 2026 at 6PM at the River Center Theatre for Performing Arts.
Under the artistic direction of Rebecca Acosta and Jonna Cox, we invite you to join us for an evening of magic, music provided by the Baton Rouge Symphony Orchestra conducted by David Torns, and a powerful display of artistry at the Baton Rouge Ballet Theatre’s 21+ fundraiser, Night at the Nutcracker. As a guest, your support empowers access for our entire community to high quality arts education, performances, and training.
Your Night at the Ballet
Your enchanting evening will begin with a private reception including heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine, and beer with the special opportunity to meet the artistic directors and BRSO conductor. Later, you'll watch the curtain rise on The Nutcracker-A Tale from the Bayou, a first look at this year's performance. During intermission, enjoy champagne and sweets while mingling with performers in costume before making your way back into the theatre.

The Baton Rouge Ballet provides thousands of dollars in scholarship annually to those students in our community who do not have access to dance and arts programs.
